The Veterans Journey into the PTSD Minefield
The editor of this book had been a long-time client of Insync Creative, where he ran quite a successful department at Adelaide University.
When he told us that since he retired he’d been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), from his time in Vietnam, it was quite a shock. Writing poetry was an important part of his recovery and as he shared his work with other veterans, their partners and families he discovered more poets writing down their experiences, thoughts and feelings.
With our help he wanted to produce a book, so he could share these poems with the broader community and hopefully also raise some money for research into PTSD. We were quite chuffed he asked.
The profits from the sale of the book go to the Repat Foundation to fund PTSD research.
